In 1874 , the painter known Camille Pissarro and first visited an exhibition of paintings impressionist. Like his tutor, art lovers, which leads him to take painting classes and make their first attempts to create in this field. Gauguin arrived at the Isthmus of Panama, in April
In the following letter to Mette-Sophie will tell her misfortune occurred in the district of San Felipe, where he was taken prisoner by the police, the crime of urinating in a street. 2 For a time the drilling work in the channel, as worker Panama Canal Company , but the weather and disease I prostrate tropical soon. Just recovered from dysentery and malaria or yellow fever, continues the journey on the island Martinique in 1888.
This trip to the Caribbean, which would be fundamental to his artistic future, since he was the sensuality of color and interest in nature primitive able to emphasize human relations, Gauguin returned to Europe sick and afflicted. There is the hospitality of Theo Van Gogh , who also will present his paintings at his own gallery.
But apart this trip, including 1886 and 1891, living mainly in Britain where it becomes the center of a group of experimental painters known as the School of Pont-Aven , where he had as disciples Émile Bernard , Paul Sérusier , Seguin and Chmaillard that constitute the so-called symbolism (Group of Nabis .) His style of painting began to transform from near the Impressionism up much more personal style.
Under the influence of one of his young disciples, Emile Bernard, his style evolved to what has been called synthetism , a way to paint more natural and synthetic. Find inspiration in the indigenous art in the windows medieval and prints Japanese.

Ovulation How Long Fertile After Cramps Start
When people buy a few tubes of paint and some brushes and without God entrusted or or the Devil gets to stain canvas, brush painting right and left without the slightest knowledge about the shape and color, you can call themselves whatever they want, daring, bold, decisive, uninhibited, desacomplejado, etc. .- but not self, because his attitude has nothing to do with the definition that we put up, as it has not sought and will not therefore be learned or used any information and practices that place does not really know if right or wrong, auque he can be considered a genius.
self-taught, in my opinion should start by getting the right information to their claims and prior knowledge of the subject. Once obtained, study, analyze and reflect on what has been studied to put into practice the acquired knowledge and practices once carried out a way to know for sure if what he has done is properly made or not and then correcting mistakes and learn the lesson for next time. This process must be repeated and gradually as you progress through an understanding of matter and also this is a process that never ends, it's never enough what you already know you will always be things to know, therefore should always look information to implement it and when one knows almost everything that the other experts know, one must experience and research to discover new things that you can then teach others.
In any field of study, whether engineering, law, humanities, history, etc. or other levels of vocational training, training is acquired a certain basic level, and if one is willing to move forward and not stagnate, should continue to explore moving to next level car for school or learning, but with a significant base if only vocational training.
for if not to learn a trade, everyone agrees that vocational training should consider or at least go into a shop apprentice learning the trade there go slowly, you can believe that to learn a artistry, drawing, painting, storytelling, poetry, music, theater, enough to have the basic tools and start doing something without knowing and without assistance.
I have to remember here that both Velázquez and Goya, for example, entered the workshop of a master and were between 8 and 10 years learning and ultimately had to undergo some tests to give them the title of master painter without which they could not mount his own paint shop. I say this because some self-styled self-learners are convinced that all great painters were self-taught too.
